Just when you think error messages couldn't possibly get any more unintelligible and obfuscated (you silly person), a pig-latinesque dialog box like this one pops up after an application crash. The fact that you were using Microsoft Excel at the time shouldn't surprise anyone. Thanks for trying. Whatever.

So you couldn't make it to the inaugural Worldwide Newton Conference last week? Sadly, neither could I. But, no worries... it's possible to relive at least part of the experience through Adam Tow's extensive gallery of images from the event. It's the next best thing to having been there in person. And speaking of being there in person, there's always next year... see you all in Cupertino, perhaps?

A quick pointer to a pair of recent articles over at Wired News regarding my favourite little green handheld. Both of these articles by Leander Kahney, Fans Keep Newton in Motion and Newton Nuts Show How It's Done, do a reasonably good job covering the hubbub around this past weekend's Worldwide Newton Conference and the self-frothing sustainability of the community I'm proud to be a part of. Not bad buzz for a six year dead computing platform, wot?
